Masks for oily hair provide your hair with valuable nutrients, such as oils, proteins and vitamins, which improve its condition. Unlike conditioners, which mainly work on the surface of the hair, masks penetrate deeper, regenerating the hair from the inside. Thanks to this, the effect of the mask is felt longer, and its regular use, 1-2 times a week, helps keep the hair in good shape.
Masks containing ingredients such as jojoba oil, which helps regulate sebum and restore the natural pH of the scalp, work best for oily hair. Anti-inflammatory and disinfecting ingredients, such as rosemary oil, green tea extract or green clay, help cleanse the scalp and reduce excessive oiliness. Probiotics, which support the microbiological balance of the scalp, and vitamin complexes, which normalize sebum production and stimulate circulation, are also important elements.
For the mask to be effective, it should be applied to damp hair, preferably along its entire length and scalp. After application, it is worth combing the hair with a comb to distribute the product evenly. For optimal results, the mask should be left on the hair for 15-30 minutes, wrapped in a cap or towel to provide warmth, which helps to better absorb the ingredients. Finally, the mask is rinsed off with lukewarm water, which leaves the hair nourished, light and fresh.
